Jeffrey RandallLISW
Mental Health Therapist
Jeffrey (Jeff) received his Master’s of Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth and Families from Portland State University in 2016. Jeff has extensive experience working with clients who have experienced acute, developmental, and complex trauma across many areas of social work including: disability services, HIV/AIDS, juvenile detention, youth homelessness, public schools, fitness coaching, primary care and community mental health clinics.
As a therapist Jeff takes an eclectic approach and utilizes a variety of theoretical orientations and treatment modalities to help clients from diverse backgrounds and who are facing equally unique challenges. He relies on client centered, attachment based, solution-focused interventions to help clients gain a greater understanding of the strengths and struggles that have brought them to where they presently find themselves. Jeff believes that the clients he works with are the experts of their own lives and his role is to help them recognize patterns and gain insights. Armed with this greater self-knowledge, he helps them to strengthen their relationship with themselves (and others) through mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral (CBT) approaches to empower them to improve their life in whatever way is most meaningful to them.
In his free time Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dogs traveling and getting outdoors.
