Family Therapist

I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mt. Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 2012. I have since worked with families, couples and individuals. I also have experience working with a variety of individuals and groups in outpatient substance abuse treatment.

Whether you are experiencing a significant life change or past trauma, are seeking to improve your self-esteem or reach personal goals, therapy can be helpful to you. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgement environment for all individuals, families and couples. I seek to create a warm, collaborative space to help rediscover joy and connection, manage anxiety and depression, grief or trauma. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and additional approaches for either short- or long-term therapy.

My training as a marriage and family therapist makes me uniquely qualified to treat family systems and couples. I have training in substance abuse treatment modalities and marital therapy approaches that support mindful, solution focused interventions. I provide a safe and affirming space to explore relationships, identity, emotion, trauma, and addiction.

Therapy is a collaborative process intended to improve your life and implement change. I look forward to that journey alongside you.
